SUSTENANCE

You are what you eat, or so they say. It's certainly easy to understand that what goes into our bodies, such intricate and complex works of art, would affect how we feel.

The chaos of the to-do list, the urgent and necessary, has led us to accept and appreciate food and drink that is prepared and ready for our consumption. We don't question what goes into these things or how they're made, we're simply grateful to have food in our bellies so we can rush on to whatever is next on our list.

But we don't have to live with this nagging dependence on questionable fare! It is possible to make quick, healthy meals at home. To plan ahead so that fast food and packaged drinks can be avoided. To prioritize ourselves rather than the unrealistic demands we plan upon ourselves.

Relax, enjoy. Dinner is served!
