After buying a fixer-upper home that was built in the 70's, complete with teal carpet, pink and green toilets, tubs and sinks and a sunken living room, I've begun the long remodeling journey.

Join me for a fun and oftentimes hilarious adventure as I blindly attempt to upgrade our living space - um yeah, we really shouldn't need buckets on the front porch to catch the rain pouring from the corroded gutters - while adding character and making the process as inexpensive as possible while not compromising on quality.
